What You’ll Do

The Leasing Coordinator supports leasing, lease transfers, outreach, and core housing operations for a student apartment community. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, timely customer service, and effective support for leasing and marketing initiatives.

  • Conduct leasing and lease-transfer appointments; create and maintain resident files and documentation
  • Provide accurate leasing, occupancy, and policy information to residents and stakeholders
  • Support move-in/move-out operations, apartment selection, and unit inspections
  • Respond to resident inquiries by phone, email, and in person; escalate complex issues when needed
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused service across all interactions

Outreach & Marketing

  • Assist with on-campus outreach events, tours, tabling, and information sessions
  • Support marketing updates, surveys, and retention events to help maintain occupancy
  • Monitor local market trends to support leasing strategy

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate resident and leasing records in Entrata, StarRez, DocuSign, and other databases
  • Prepare weekly occupancy and operational reports; perform regular audits of files and records
  • Collaborate with Accounts and other teams to ensure billing and account accuracy

Office & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Provide reception and information-desk support; maintain a professional and welcoming office environment
  • Perform data entry, filing, photocopying, and other administrative tasks
  • Support special projects and cross-functional operational needs as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1–2 years of entry-level experience in college student housing administration or property management leasing operations
  • Experience supporting campus marketing initiatives and conducting community tours
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Entrata, StarRez, and DocuSign preferred
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills; ability to analyze occupancy data and support strategic planning
  • Ability to work on-site Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm; occasional evenings/weekends during peak leasing/move periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds

Compensation & Benefits

  • $21.00–$22.00 per hour (hourly pay rate commensurate with experience)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office-based, mid–to–high paced environment with routine interaction by phone, email, and in-person
  • Frequent sitting and manual dexterity; occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 35 lbs)
