What You’ll Do
This entry-level Learning Experience Specialist role supports the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning solutions across the business. You’ll work with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners to develop engaging, measurable learning experiences that help employees build capability and perform at their best.
- Contribute to the design and development of instructor-led, virtual, and asynchronous learning experiences
- Partner with business leaders and SMEs to gather needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Analyze learning and performance data to identify opportunities and measure program impact
- Maintain training content, resources, and learning systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate content reviews, governance, and deployment schedules across the learning portfolio
- Support delivery of compliance and required training programs and assist with rollouts
- Assist with usability testing and recommend improvements to learning systems and interfaces

Job Responsibilities
- Produce clear, high-quality learning deliverables (scripts, guides, job aids, assessments)
- Design curriculum and learning approaches tailored to target audiences and business goals
- Plan and track learning projects to timely completion; report outcomes and metrics
- Research best practices, diagnose performance gaps, and propose continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage and curate internal and external learning content to meet instructional objectives
- Moderate learning communities and encourage participant engagement when applicable
- Design and implement leadership development and functional learning solutions where needed
- Consult with senior leaders to align learning solutions with business requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of experience in learning content, instructional design, or organizational development — OR High School/GED plus 4 years of related experience
- At least 1 year experience in curriculum development and training design
- Familiarity with performance and process improvement methodologies
- Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Experience developing presentations for varied audience levels
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across organizational levels
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for business purposes (in-state and out-of-state)
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field
- Experience with learning technologies and tools (Articulate Storyline, Captivate, LMSs, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML)
- Project management experience (planning, organizing, and managing resources)
- Experience in retail or healthcare training and compliance is a plus
- Experience facilitating working sessions and conducting root cause analysis
- Strong written communication skills (storytelling, copywriting for learning)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $58,500 - $102,375 per year (salary will depend on location, experience, skills, and other factors)
