About the Confidential Client
Confidential Client is an employer in the Engineering industry seeking early-career professionals for a two-year, rotational Contracts Leadership Development Program (starts June 2027). This program provides practical, on-the-job rotations across contracting and acquisition functions with training, mentoring, and broad exposure to the business.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in a two-year, rotational Contracts Leadership Development Program (CLDP) beginning June 2027.
- Complete short-term on-site rotations across the U.S. to broaden leadership and functional skills.
- Work in assignments that may include:
- Acquisition Policy
- Contract Change Management
- Stakeholder Relations
- Deal Formation
- Government and Commercial Contracting
- Contract Negotiations
- Stretch capabilities with hands-on assignments and receive mentoring from program leaders and alumni.
- Build a professional network across locations and functions.
Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Studies, Political Science, or a related discipline.
- Relevant internship, co-op, or work experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- Willing and able to relocate anywhere in the United States for program rotations.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience leading or coordinating projects or teams.
- Cross-functional internship or project experience.
- Evidence of analytical or data-driven work.
Employment & Compensation
- Employment type: Contract / Full-time (two-year rotational program; program roles are onsite for rotations with hybrid elements when applicable).
- Location: Arlington, VA (rotations will require relocation to other U.S. sites).
- Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required for program participation.
- Security clearance: Not required at time of hire.
- Salary range: $59,000 — $139,000 USD per year (good-faith estimate representing all experience levels; exact offer depends on role, experience, location, and skills).

- Program start: Recruiting for rotations beginning June 2027.
