What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Law Enforcement Administrative Assistant to support federal investigative and analytical operations in Manhattan, NY. This role provides hands-on support to investigators, analysts, and program managers and is ideal for early-career candidates or recent graduates interested in federal law enforcement, intelligence, or investigations.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Support investigative and analytical projects through research, data analysis, and consolidation of information from multiple systems and databases
  • Identify patterns, discrepancies, and potential investigative leads through data review
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, correspondence, and other case-related documentation
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical case files and perform database audits
  • Provide technical and administrative guidance to supervisors and program managers
  • Support office operations, resource coordination, and routine administrative functions
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive law enforcement information
  • Work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate within a team environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Who You Are / Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required
  • 3–4 years of experience in an analytical role; experience in law enforcement or a related discipline preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Teams and SharePoint preferred
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, or research tools is highly desirable
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Homeland Security, Political Science, Data Analytics, Business, or related field
  • Internship, research, military, or prior law enforcement/analytical experience
  • Familiarity with investigative support workflows and case management systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance / public trust determination

Security & Background Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Selected applicants will undergo a government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance/public trust required
  • Successful completion of confidential client background investigation, drug screening, and credit check may be required

Location & Compensation

  • Location: Manhattan, NY (onsite)
  • Anticipated salary range: $45,000 – $50,000 per year
