What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Survey Analyst to join their Kansas City, MO office to support project managers with survey design and CAD deliverables. This is an on-site role.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce subdivision plats, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic surveys, and other survey exhibits.
- Translate field crew data (points), sketches, photos, and reference maps into accurate survey drawings.
- Research and analyze boundary, easement, and title documents; perform boundary analysis and record research.
- Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for right-of-way, easements, acquisition parcels, and similar deliverables.
- Coordinate with project teams to meet schedule and production requirements.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support project delivery.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred (related field such as Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering technology, or similar).
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
Preferred / Helpful Experience
- Hands-on exposure to ALTA/NSPS and topographic survey standards.
- Experience preparing legal descriptions and easement/right-of-way exhibits.
- Familiarity with common field data formats (survey points, CSVs) and survey QC processes.
- Basic understanding of boundary law and title research practices.
Compensation & Logistics
- Estimated salary: $50,548 per year (estimated).
- Employment type: Full-time, on-site in Kansas City, MO.
- This is not a remote position.
