What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Land Planning Analyst to support planning projects in Saint Paul, MN. You will work on land use, transportation, aviation, and related planning studies—supporting project teams, learning regulatory requirements, and helping translate client goals into practical design and planning solutions.
- Assist with development of planning studies and schematic/concept design.
- Analyze transportation infrastructure to identify needs and development opportunities.
- Support project managers in solving technical problems and coordinating across disciplines.
- Prepare maps, reports, and presentation materials for stakeholders and public meetings.
- Coordinate with airports, municipal and state agencies, developers, and the public.
- Learn and apply federal, state, and local regulations and industry best practices.
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams on both public- and private-sector projects.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Planning or Engineering (completed or in progress — degree expected by summer 2024 per original posting).
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated team player who meets client deadlines.
- Ability to perform assignments with minimal supervision and a desire to learn.
- Solid analytical and critical thinking skills; creative and flexible approach to problem solving.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access); quick learner for other software.
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $80,000 - $83,000 per year.
