What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level, hands-on Laboratory Technician opportunity supporting an onsite laboratory in Wheat Ridge, CO. As a Laboratory Technician (contract-to-hire), you will help with sample preparation and basic lab operations to support testing throughput and data quality.

• Assist with sample preparation (aliquoting, basic media prep as needed)
• Maintain accurate sample records and log data consistently
• Monitor and manage consumables and inventory levels
• Support senior technicians with setup and prep for incoming sample runs
• Follow established SOPs, safety procedures, and data integrity practices
• Maintain a clean, organized bench and report any equipment issues promptly

Qualifications

Minimum required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related)
• Self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work onsite in Wheat Ridge, CO, Monday–Friday (typical hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

Preferred:

• Academic or industry experience with laboratory instrumentation or sample handling
• Prior experience with aliquoting, pipetting, or basic media preparation
• Basic familiarity with lab inventory tracking and documentation systems

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour (as stated by the client)
• Engagement: 5-month contract-to-hire (initial contract period; potential conversion to direct employment)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Onsite — Wheat Ridge, CO
