What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level Laboratory Technician role supporting day-to-day sample preparation and basic lab operations at a Confidential Client lab in Arvada, CO. You'll follow established procedures to prepare and document samples, help manage supplies, and support senior technicians to keep lab workflows running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sample preparation (aliquoting, labeling, and related tasks)
• Potentially assist with media preparation according to protocols
• Maintain accurate sample records and data entry
• Monitor inventory and notify supervisors when supplies run low
• Support senior technicians with setup for incoming samples and routine lab tasks
• Follow lab safety, documentation, and quality procedures at all times

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar)
• Self-starter with attention to detail and good time-management skills
• Academic or industry instrumentation experience preferred (related to sample prep)
• Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• This is a 5-month contract-to-hire opportunity; initial engagement is contract-based

• Prior laboratory coursework or internship experience with hands-on sample handling
• Familiarity with basic lab documentation and inventory systems

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $20–$22 per hour (hourly range provided by the client)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Type: 5-month Contract-to-Hire, onsite in Arvada, CO
