What You’ll Do

The Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Lab Technician to support Quality Assurance activities across multiple laboratories. This contract role focuses on equipment verification, document control, records management, and routine QA support.

• Assist with laboratory thermometer verification and calibration procedures
• Support balance and weight verification programs (balances & scales)
• Perform document control activities, including converting controlled documents to PDF and maintaining records in electronic document systems
• Enter, review, and maintain data in laboratory databases and spreadsheets
• Organize QA supply standards and quality control (QC) check samples
• Prepare forms, labels, logs, and supporting program documentation
• Dispose of expired QC materials under supervision and follow safety procedures
• Support SOP management, revision processes, and other routine QA/lab tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline preferred (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences)
• Experience working with laboratory balances, scales, and basic lab instrumentation
• Familiarity with calibration or verification activities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic data entry
• Valid CA driver’s license (listed in source — include only as required for role duties)
• Entry-level experience welcome; demonstrated attention to detail and good recordkeeping skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $24.00 per hour (contract). Individual pay within this range depends on qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
