What You’ll Do

• Perform laboratory testing and analysis to support patient diagnostics and healthcare outcomes.
• Process and prepare biological samples according to established laboratory procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation to perform routine testing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory results and maintain data integrity.
• Support quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) activities and document corrective actions when needed.
• Troubleshoot test performance issues and assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and lab organization.
• Collaborate with scientists, technologists, and laboratory teams to ensure accurate and timely results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands-on laboratory skills gained through academic coursework, internships, research, or industry experience.
• Working knowledge of common laboratory testing techniques in biology and chemistry.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based laboratory environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of laboratory experience (industry, internships, or academic research).
• Experience with sample preparation, quality control procedures, or laboratory instrumentation.
• Previous exposure to regulated lab environments or clinical testing workflows is a plus.

Details

• Employment type: FULL_TIME — Contract to Hire.
• Workplace: Fully onsite in Graham, NC, USA.
• Pay range: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
• Benefits (if eligible): medical, dental & vision; 401(k); voluntary life & AD&D; short- and long-term disability; health savings account (HSA); transportation benefits; employee assistance program (EAP); paid time off (PTO). Eligibility may depend on job classification and length of employment.
