What You’ll Do

This entry-level Lab Tech I role supports pharmaceutical quality control (QC) testing. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate sample receipt, labeling, and tracking to ensure chain-of-custody and traceability
  • Perform routine analytical tests per SOPs to support QC release and stability programs
  • Enter, validate, and maintain laboratory data in computer applications/LIMS
  • Operate basic laboratory instrumentation and perform routine calibrations/checks
  • Document results accurately and escalate out-of-spec or atypical results to supervisors
  • Follow GMP, safety, and laboratory compliance practices at all times

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry, or an associate degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–3 years of laboratory experience; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
  • Basic laboratory instrumentation skills and comfort with routine analytical testing
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving ability
  • Good computer skills and clear written/verbal communication
  • Able to work onsite in a regulated GMP environment

Preferred Experience

  • Prior exposure to pharmaceutical or biotechnology quality control testing
  • Experience operating analytical equipment such as:
    • Analytical balances
    • Total carbon analyzers
    • Spectrophotometers
    • pH meters

Role Details

  • Location: Bellmead, TX — 100% onsite
  • Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour
  • Assignment Length: 6 months initial contract
  • Estimated Start Date: ASAP
  • Employment Type: CONTRACTOR
