About the Role

The Dooms Lab in the Department of Immunology and Genomic Medicine at Confidential Client is seeking a motivated, entry-level Lab Research Technician to support autoimmune-disease research. You will assist with experiments using rodent models and human patient samples to study T cell roles in Scleroderma/Systemic Sclerosis and Type 1 Diabetes. This is a part-time, telecommute-eligible role based in Denver, CO.


What You’ll Do

  • Assist research staff with routine laboratory tests and experiments under the direction of a Principal Investigator or Lab Manager
  • Collect, accurately record, and help analyze experimental data
  • Prepare glassware, perform extraction and plating procedures, and maintain sample records and lab notebooks
  • Support basic data analysis and use of lab computers/systems as needed
  • Maintain compliance with institutional safety and training requirements

Essential Duties

  • Performs routine laboratory tests under supervision
  • Collects, records, and analyzes data in coordination with research staff
  • Obtains and maintains proficiency in data analysis, sample prep, and lab procedures
  • Keeps laboratory records, supplies, and samples organized (notebook and storage records)
  • Follows institutional safety and regulatory procedures at all times

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required
  • Work Experience: No prior experience required (entry-level)
  • Training/Certification: Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and data collection/classification

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $22.76 - $30.10 per hour (part-time)
