Shift & Schedule

This is a part-time, overnight shift role: Tuesday to Saturday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM.

What You’ll Do

• Perform and document analytical procedures following SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct routine data analysis and confirm results meet acceptable tolerances.
• Identify, document, and escalate unusual results or potential performance errors to senior lab personnel.
• Prepare data analysis results for upload to the LIMS under senior staff guidance.
• Assist in quality investigations, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Prepare buffers and solutions required for analyses.
• Help review and update laboratory procedures and techniques.
• Guide entry-level staff on routine procedures and support new-staff onboarding.
• Perform and document calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment as assigned.
• Conduct hands-on training for other lab personnel in areas of proven competency.
• Notify inventory teams of supply shortages and may represent the lab on cross-functional projects.
• Communicate clearly and timely with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Participate in continuing education and support safety, quality, and 6S initiatives.
• Comply with Confidential Client’s procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

The Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Needed

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Some CAP/CLIA locations may require a BSc in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology.)
• Minimum ~6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred.
• Basic technical knowledge of relevant lab systems and procedures; understanding of functional area responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of applicable regulatory standards (e.g., GLP).
• Proficiency with flow cytometry-relevant lab techniques and routine/non-routine laboratory calculations (averages, means, SD, QC metrics).
• Experience with automation or specialized laboratory equipment is a plus.
• Familiar with LIMS data entry and standard lab software (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control, hazardous chemical handling, and standard precautions.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Effective collaborator with internal stakeholders and able to support junior staff.

Compensation

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $34,700.00 - $72,300.00. Actual pay offered will depend on factors such as qualifications, experience, location, and schedule. Incentive plans, bonuses, or other compensation may apply depending on the role.
