Responsibilities
Confidential Client is seeking a Korean-speaking Procurement Specialist (Entry Level) to support purchasing and supply-chain operations. This role works closely with vendors, internal teams, and finance to ensure timely, accurate procurement and to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers for goods and services that meet client requirements
- Process and maintain purchase orders to meet demand in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders on delivery status, pricing, RFQs, and order confirmations
- Review quotes, determine contract prices, follow up on orders, verify deliveries, and approve payments
- Maintain accurate procurement records and data in procurement systems
- Evaluate and negotiate supplier contracts and terms
- Compare available goods to industry trends to identify appropriate pricing and alternatives
- Support supply chain management activities and schedule procurements
- Assist Finance with reconciling purchase and invoice variances
- Conduct market research and recommend alternative products to improve cost or lead time
- Provide customer service via email and phone as needed
- Identify and pursue new business or sourcing opportunities
- Perform other job-related duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in procurement, business, supply chain, or related field
- 0–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing (2–5 years preferred)
- Fluent in English and Korean (both written and verbal) — bilingual requirement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
