What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level engineer to join their Water Services team supporting water and wastewater planning, design, and implementation projects. Under direct supervision you will:
- Support design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and related infrastructure
- Conduct site assessments and adjust design parameters to meet field conditions and client needs
- Perform water quality analyses and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling using tools such as ArcGIS, HEC‑RAS, SWMM, and CADD
- Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and presentation materials for client meetings and conferences
- Assist with construction support and fieldwork as needed to provide full project lifecycle exposure
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Skills & Abilities
- Basic knowledge of computer‑assisted design and drafting (CADD) and 3D/4D visualization practices
- Familiarity with engineering design principles for water/wastewater systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn technical modeling software (ArcGIS, HEC‑RAS, SWMM) and adapt to project needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent directly related experience)
- Entry-level (0 years required); recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required (typically up to ~10%)
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant industry experience or a relevant Master’s degree
- Prior coursework or hands-on experience with water resources modeling and CADD
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: USD $63,835 — USD $105,310 per year (good‑faith estimate for the Fort Worth, TX location; actual pay is determined by role, experience, skills, and other factors)
- Additional compensation (bonuses) may be discretionary and vary by role
- Benefits: standard employer-provided benefits may apply (health, retirement, leave) — specifics determined by Confidential Client
Travel
- Typical travel: 10% or less (varies by project needs)
