What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support systems engineering activities for complex programs. You will contribute to technical planning, system integration, verification & validation, and performance tracking across the system lifecycle.
- Support system engineering activities: system integration, verification & validation
- Develop and manage requirements; use DOORS for requirements tracking
- Conduct cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses
- Track performance metrics and report technical status
- Support systems engineering processes and documentation release
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements traceability
- Assist with verification/validation test planning and execution
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Entry-level accepted (Junior) — candidates with some systems engineering experience encouraged
- Experience performing systems engineering or related engineering work
- Familiarity with requirements development and lifecycle processes
- Proficient in IBM DOORS (or equivalent requirements tools)
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen and authorized to obtain/maintain DoD clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science in Electrical, Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with MBSE tools (e.g., CAMEO, MagicDraw)
- Hands-on experience with requirements verification and validation
- Knowledge of engineering documentation release processes
Location & Clearance
- Primary location: Triana, AL (on-site)
- This position requires an active DoD Secret clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
