Confidential Client is looking for entry-level candidates (new grads and recent graduates) for full-time Junior Software Programmer / Fullstack roles based in Raleigh, NC. This hiring path is focused on developing production-ready skills that help early-career candidates move from academic projects to real-world software delivery. The program emphasizes Java/Full Stack/DevOps and data-focused tracks (analytics, engineering, ML/AI), with hands-on projects, interview preparation, and employer-matching.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to full-stack development tasks: build REST APIs, integrate with databases, and implement front-end components.
• Work on hands-on projects that mirror production workflows (CI/CD, automated tests, deployments).
• Collaborate with engineering teams on debugging, code reviews, and incremental feature delivery.
• Participate in interview prep and mock interviews to sharpen data structures, algorithms, SQL, and behavioral skills.
• Learn cloud basics and DevOps automation practices to support deployment and monitoring.
• Assist with data tasks where applicable: data cleanup, basic ETL, analytics queries, and reporting.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree (or soon-to-graduate) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field.
• Foundational programming experience in at least one backend language (Java or Python preferred).
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTTP, REST), databases (SQL), and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and a willingness to learn CI/CD and cloud workflows.
• Ability to present projects that demonstrate end-to-end thinking (API → database → deployment → basic monitoring).
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to practice interview-focused topics (data structures, algorithms, SQL).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for this Raleigh, NC–based position (employers may discuss visa sponsorship at later stages).

• Coursework, internships, or projects showing Java full-stack development or Python backend work.
• Exposure to containerization (Docker), cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), or infrastructure-as-code basics.

• Demonstrable portfolio (GitHub, deployed demo, or technical blog) that highlights production-like projects.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $82,000 - $127,000 per year (range provided by our client).
• Full-time benefits depend on the hiring employer and may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development support.
