What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level engineering role supporting a confidential client’s product development in San Francisco, CA. You’ll work with a small team of engineers and report to an engineering manager. Typical responsibilities include:

• Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software features
• Write clean, well-documented code and follow the team’s development processes
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs reported by peers or QA
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teammates to deliver value iteratively
• Learn and apply modern software-engineering best practices

What We’re Looking For

Minimum qualifications (candidates who meet most of these are encouraged to apply):

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, OR demonstrated hands-on coding experience
• Practical experience building small projects or contributions (class project, internship, open-source, bootcamp)
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (examples: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, etc.)
• Solid problem-solving skills and desire to learn new tools and systems
• Good communication and ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Authorized to work in the U.S. or able to obtain work authorization for employment in California

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with web frameworks or frontend libraries (React, Vue, etc.) or backend frameworks (Express, Flask, Spring)
• Exposure to version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and RESTful APIs
• Any internship, co-op, or prior professional engineering experience

• Location: San Francisco, CA (on-site or hybrid as defined by our confidential client)
• Employment type: Full-time
