What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for an organized, curious Junior Software Engineer to join their engineering team in Lehi, UT. In this role you'll work with experienced engineers to build reliable, customer-facing features for an e-commerce platform that supports ultra-luxury fashion resale.

• Write, test, and maintain production-quality code for web applications and backend services
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA to implement user-focused features
• Participate in code reviews and learn established engineering patterns and best practices
• Troubleshoot and fix defects in a timely manner; contribute to root-cause analysis
• Help maintain and improve CI/CD, testing, and documentation
• Learn and adopt the team’s technology stack and contribute to ongoing technical improvements

Minimum Qualifications

We follow non-discriminatory, US-friendly hiring practices. Candidates typically meet most of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• 0–2 years of software development experience (internships, bootcamps, or projects count)
• Practical experience with source control (Git) and collaborating in a shared codebase
• Familiarity with web development fundamentals (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) or backend development concepts
• Basic debugging and problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new tools and frameworks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in small teams

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

These are not required but will help you ramp faster:

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) or TypeScript
• Exposure to backend languages and frameworks (Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, etc.)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, relational databases, or cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Automated testing experience (unit/integration tests) and CI tooling
• Previous work in e-commerce, retail tech, or consumer-facing products
