What You’ll Do

This is an early-career software engineering role on a growing technical team based in Dayton, OH. You'll support development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and work with engineers across the stack to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Write, test, and maintain clean, well-documented code using object-oriented languages (Java preferred)
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other engineers to implement new features
• Troubleshoot and debug production and development issues
• Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Work with databases and data access layers to implement application logic
• Participate in code reviews and follow team development processes and best practices
• Help maintain project documentation and deployment artifacts

Minimum Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated experience developing software applications
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages
• Experience building web-based applications
• Familiarity with modern development tools and practices (Git, CI/CD, automated testing)
• Experience working with databases and development frameworks
• Comfortable working in a team environment and learning new technologies quickly

Compensation & Employment Type

• Employment type: FULL_TIME
• Base salary: $95,000 – $120,000 per year
• Location: Dayton, OH (on-site or as required by the client)
• This position requires U.S. Citizenship per client requirement
