What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join their engineering team. In this role you’ll contribute to product features, help maintain code quality, and learn from experienced engineers while working on projects for enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement well-tested, maintainable code
- Participate in design discussions and provide thoughtful input on technical decisions
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure deliverables meet quality standards
- Debug and resolve issues reported by customers or internal teams
- Learn and adopt best practices for version control, CI/CD, and deployment processes
- Contribute to documentation that helps future developers and stakeholders
What We're Looking For
We’re hiring a proactive, learning-oriented engineer who is comfortable working on a team and eager to grow.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (or relevant coursework/projects)
- Some hands-on experience building applications—internships, bootcamps, class projects, or personal projects count
- Basic familiarity with at least one modern programming language (examples: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#)
- Comfort using version control (git) and collaborating through code review
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear written/verbal communication
- Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and cloud services as required by client projects
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with web frameworks (React, Node, Django, Spring, .NET, etc.)
- Exposure to relational databases and/or NoSQL stores
- Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Interest in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
