Overview

Confidential Client, a firm in IT Services and IT Consulting, is seeking motivated, early-career Junior Software Engineers for a paid, full-time training-to-deployment program. Candidates will complete a structured, hands-on training period and then be placed with enterprise or government clients.

What You’ll Do

• Build and enhance applications using the languages, frameworks, and tools used by client teams
• Write clean, efficient, well-structured code to professional standards
• Diagnose and fix defects; provide technical support and resolution
• Participate in and contribute to code reviews
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications with stakeholders
• Support testing, deployment, and maintenance of production systems
• Maintain technical documentation and continue learning new tools and techniques

Minimum Qualifications

You likely qualify if you meet one of the following paths:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or similar), OR
• 1+ year of technical work experience

Required fundamentals:

• Working understanding of programming fundamentals: data structures, algorithms
• Databases and SQL experience
• Experience with an object-oriented language such as Java or C#
• Solid problem-solving and logical reasoning
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Other requirements:

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
• Willingness to relocate for client placement when required
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. as a W-2 employee (not C2C)

• Base salary range: $52,000 — $57,000 per year
