- In a .NET environment, code, test, debug, and implement custom application components in C# using microservices approaches and Angular 2+ for front-end work.
- Write and optimize T-SQL queries, join datasets, and work with Microsoft SQL Server to support application features.
- Integrate components across modules and potentially across disparate applications and services.
- Produce technical specifications, design notes, and user-facing documentation.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, DB architects, and product analysts to drive successful delivery from development to deployment.
- Propose and implement tools or process improvements that increase team productivity and code quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field from an accredited U.S. institution.
- ~2 years of professional software development experience (internships, co-ops, or significant projects may be considered).
- Working knowledge of C# and the .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and writing SQL/T-SQL queries.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and common software design fundamentals.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and client/server architecture.
- Basic debugging, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, co-op, academic, or personal project experience with Angular, C#, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Entity Framework / EF Core.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other CI/CD tools and workflows.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, Jasmine, Karma).
- Understanding of dependency injection and modern architecture patterns.
- Experience consuming or developing REST APIs and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Agile development practices.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to increase productivity while validating outputs for accuracy and security.
Work Authorization & Clearance
- Security clearance is not required at hire. Candidate must be capable of obtaining a Secret clearance if needed for future assignments.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Benefits & Compensation
- Pay: $30.00–$35.00 per hour (approximately $62,400–$72,800 per year).
- 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting and a discretionary match (4%).
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance options for employees and eligible dependents.
- Paid time off (PTO), holidays, bereavement, and military leave.
- Health and dependent care FSAs.
- Company-provided life/AD&D coverage and access to supplemental life/disability plans.
- TRICARE supplement, Employee Assistance Program, tuition assistance, professional development, and bonus programs.
