What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain technical and project documentation, including meeting notes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), system/user guides, requirements documents, workflow diagrams, and project status updates.
• Assist with workflow development and form/process creation using the HighGear platform.
• Gather and document user information and requirements to support software specifications.
• Support preparation of software specifications and perform routine analysis of software designs.
• Help plan and execute software testing, analyze test results, and identify issues for remediation.
• Track requirements, validate data, collect user feedback, and coordinate project action items.
• Create charts and graphs to support data analysis and reporting as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and provide regular status updates; learn and take on more complex software analysis tasks over time.

Qualifications (Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent relevant experience.
• Willingness and ability to learn HighGear workflow development (process and form creation).
• Working knowledge of web application development and application programming interfaces (APIs).
• Proficiency with common desktop applications (word processing, spreadsheets, basic databases).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Current, active DoD Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• Successful completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination within 180 days of hire.
• Ability to work on-site at the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) — on-site presence required.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Prior experience with HighGear or similar workflow automation platforms.
• Internship or coursework in software testing, requirements gathering, or technical writing.

Compensation & Location

• Estimated salary: $70,925 per year (estimated, provided by the source).
• Employment type: Full-time.
• Work location: On-site at MSIC, Redstone Arsenal, AL.
• This role requires eligibility for and maintenance of required security clearances and successful completion of government background investigations.
