Role Overview
This entry-level Junior Project Assistant role supports project teams by keeping schedules, documents, and communications organized so projects run smoothly. You will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to track deliverables, prepare reports, coordinate meetings, and perform general administrative tasks for a confidential client based in Franklin, TN.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain project schedules, trackers, and action-item logs to ensure deadlines are visible and met
- Monitor timelines and follow up with team members on outstanding tasks and deliverables
- Assist project managers with day-to-day coordination and escalation of potential delays
- Create, organize, and maintain project documentation, plans, and status trackers
- Prepare weekly and monthly project updates and basic KPI reports
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and meeting materials, and record/distribute minutes and action items
- Facilitate communications between departments, vendors, clients, and stakeholders as needed
- Support onboarding for new project team members and perform related administrative tasks
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain project databases and shared files
- Support ad-hoc tasks and special projects assigned by leadership
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 0–2 years of professional experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role (recent graduates encouraged)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and proactive problem-solving
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
