Junior Planner
The Junior Planner at Confidential Client is responsible for supporting material and production planning to ensure a continuous flow of job orders and materials to manufacturing cells. This on-site role involves utilizing the Syspro MRP system to manage materials, generate job orders, resolve material availability issues, and contribute to team efforts within a collaborative and quality-focused environment.

What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Junior Planner in Santa Maria, CA to support material and production planning for manufacturing operations. The Junior Planner (Junior Planner Santa Maria, CA) will use the Syspro MRP system and cross-functional coordination to keep production flowing and materials delivered on time.
- Utilize Syspro MRP to plan materials and support the production schedule
- Generate and track requisitions and MRP action messages to meet requirement dates
- Create and release Job Orders and Kit Lists and deliver them to work centers
- Investigate and resolve material-availability issues (lost parts, rework, scrap, engineering changes)
- Identify MRP or process issues and escalate to Planning Management
- Produce reports, perform complex planning tasks, and support special projects as assigned
- Communicate clearly with production, purchasing, engineering, and other teams
- Maintain safety, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Open to entry-level and experienced candidates
- Experience with MRP systems (Syspro experience is a plus)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and deliver results
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to work extended or irregular hours when required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $25.00 - $30.00 annual (as provided by the hiring organization)
- Up to 3% bonus potential (where eligible)
