What You’ll Do

You will join a Confidential Client team supporting the commissioning and startup of two large-scale galvanizing production lines. This is an entry-level, hands-on mechanical engineering role focused on equipment readiness, troubleshooting, and parts coordination during pre-startup and ramp-up phases.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning activities, equipment procurement, and parts inventory management
• Identify required piping, valves, fittings, and components (sizes, quantities, approved suppliers)
• Work alongside experienced mechanical engineers to learn industrial equipment operations and troubleshooting
• Assist with diagnosing machinery, robotics, fans, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems issues
• Support startup timelines and ensure equipment is prepared for safe, reliable operation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least one co-op or internship experience in a heavy industrial, automotive, or assembly environment
• Working understanding of piping, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Previous construction or commissioning experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation & Location

• Pay: $50.00 — $60.00 USD per hour (hourly range provided by the confidential client)
• Employment type: Full-time
• Work location: Fraziers Bottom, WV (on-site)
