The Role
Confidential Client is hiring a detail-oriented Junior Loan Processor to support residential and small multi-family real estate investor loans through underwriting. This entry-level position is hands-on and ideal for someone organized, communicative, and eager to learn mortgage/loan operations. Comprehensive training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation (purchase contracts, bank statements, rehab budgets, etc.) and prepare concise loan summaries for underwriting.
- Track loan pipeline timelines, clear outstanding conditions, and escalate potential delays to keep closings on schedule.
- Coordinate and monitor third-party services: appraisals, title, inspections, and credit reports; work with settlement companies and closers to ensure alignment.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for brokers, borrowers, account executives, underwriters, and closers — keeping stakeholders informed and files complete.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable, customer-service oriented approach.
- No prior loan-processing experience required — training will be provided.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, with annual bonus potential.
