What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level/full-time opportunity for candidates ready to start or relaunch a career in software development or data science. You’ll join a supported training-to-placement pathway that prepares you for hands-on engineering work and full-time roles at client organizations.

• Work on core Java and Spring Boot projects, including API development and microservices patterns
• Complete practical, employer-focused assignments that demonstrate coding ability and design reasoning
• Participate in data-focused tracks (data analytics, data engineering, data science) if you choose that path
• Build end-to-end features that may include backend services, databases (SQL), and optionally frontend components (React)
• Practice technical interview problems (DSA) and receive ATS-aware resume guidance and interview coaching
• Collaborate with mentors and technical leads to iterate on real-world projects and prepare for client interviews

• Recent graduates in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Statistics with limited professional experience

• Professionals switching into software or data careers who can commit to technical training + project work
• Applicants who can show recent code samples, projects, or coursework that demonstrate learning and problem solving

Core Skills & Technologies

The program and assignments center on current employer needs. Expect exposure to:

• Java (Core) and Spring Boot / microservices
• SQL and data analytics fundamentals
• Data science / machine learning basics (for the data track) and Python where applicable
• Front-end fundamentals (React) for full-stack tracks — optional depending on your selected path
• DevOps-oriented concepts and cloud basics as applied to microservices deployments
• Data structures & algorithms (DSA) practice for interview readiness

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field OR demonstrable project experience (bootcamp, personal projects, coursework)
• Fundamental programming knowledge in Java or Python and familiarity with SQL
• Willingness to complete project assignments, coding exercises, and interview prep activities
• Strong communication skills and a growth mindset

Compensation & Employment Details

• Employment type: Full-time
• Salary range (posted): $82,000 - $127,000 per year (range provided by our client)
• Location: Minneapolis, MN (on-site / local-hybrid possibilities depend on client role)
• This opportunity pairs training, resume/ATS support, and interview scheduling with the goal of placing candidates into full-time roles (not short-term contract chains)
