What You'll Do

This role is open for a Junior Java Full Stack Engineer based in Seattle, WA working on POS+ and in-store Point of Sale (POS) solutions. You'll work across the stack to build secure, scalable, and maintainable services and web applications.

• Develop and maintain RESTful microservices using Java (Java 8+) and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance front-end interfaces using React.js and TypeScript.
• Containerize applications and manage deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with AWS services (EKS, RDS, DynamoDB) to design resilient cloud-native solutions.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and support automated testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design features that improve in-store customer experiences and transaction security.
• Troubleshoot performance, availability, and reliability issues in distributed systems.

What We're Looking For

We seek a hands-on associate-level engineer (Engineer 2) with proven full-stack experience and a strong foundation in cloud-native microservices.

• Strong Java 8+ and Spring Boot experience.
• Front-end expertise with React.js and TypeScript.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• AWS experience — especially EKS, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and working with TDD.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, scalability, and distributed systems.
• Effective communicator, team-oriented, and comfortable working in an onsite, collaborative environment.
