What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join their corporate interiors practice. This entry-level role supports large, complex projects and offers exposure to collaborative, fast-paced teams and professional growth opportunities.
- Participate in high-energy, collaborative project teams
- Contribute to ideation and schematic design sessions
- Provide design and documentation support across project phases
- Produce contract documents and drawing sets
- Develop and implement design concepts and finish palettes
- Prepare presentation books, boards, and client materials
- Research, select, and specify materials, finishes, and furniture
- Support furniture selection and FF&E specification as required
Qualifications
- 2–6 years of professional interior design or interior architecture experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- LEED accreditation or willingness to obtain within 18 months of hire
- Strong conceptual and schematic design skills
- Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills
- Proficiency in Revit with essential 3D modeling skills
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, Rhino, and/or 3DS Max
- Experience producing presentation materials and documenting specifications
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, open-studio environment
Preferred Qualifications & Tools
- Demonstrated experience on corporate interior projects
- Strong presentation and client-facing skills
- Experience with furniture selection and FF&E coordination
- Comfortable working across multiple phases and documentation deliverables
Compensation & Location
- Annual base pay range (location-dependent): $65,000–$73,000 per year
- Employment type: Full-time
- Location: South Boston, MA — candidate must be based in the United States
