Role overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer focused on ecommerce content to support their marketing and e-commerce teams in Salt Lake City, UT. This entry-level role supports product and lifestyle photography processing, image asset creation and editing, and the production of web-ready creative that helps drive online sales and brand consistency. This opportunity may be full-time or contractor-based.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in high-volume production tasks for photography and design pipelines.
• Edit and process product and lifestyle imagery for web retail and partner channels.
• Build and optimize “elevated content” for ecommerce listings and web pages.
• Collaborate with designers and the ecomm team to produce marketing materials and visual assets.
• Prepare mockups, renders, and compositing as required for web and marketing use.
• Maintain, name, and organize digital assets to ensure consistent internal systems.
• Take part in team critiques and design reviews and implement feedback.
• Identify process improvements for faster, higher-quality content production.
• Support periodic asset updates and cross-team production needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Passion for design with strong conceptual foundations.
• Working knowledge of design principles and typography.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously.
• Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to organize and manage complex file and process workflows.
• A collaborative mindset that accepts and applies constructive feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field strongly preferred.
• ~1 year of relevant freelance, internship, or school-based design experience.
• A portfolio showcasing print and digital work (include ecommerce or product imagery when possible).
• Experience or interest in Web Design, UX/UI, and ecommerce content workflows.
