What You’ll Do
As a Junior Graphic Designer in Morristown, NJ, you’ll create on-brand visual assets that support internal and external communications across digital and print channels.
- Support the production of brochures, one-pagers, social graphics, infographics, email visuals, and website imagery
- Prepare and format visuals for internal communications: newsletters, presentations, and in-house publications
- Update and maintain brand templates and ensure consistency across materials
- Resize, optimize and export assets for multiple platforms and channels
- Assist with basic motion graphics or video editing as needed (Premiere, After Effects — a plus)
- Collaborate with communications and other internal teams to scope and deliver projects on time
- Maintain organized file structures and a media/asset library
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Communications Director, you will support the corporate communications team and subsidiary business units to develop visual materials that strengthen brand awareness and ensure creative work stays within brand charter guidelines.
- Manage multiple, overlapping design requests with clear communication and planning
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide timelines, and deliver final assets
- Ensure merchandise branding and printed materials follow production best practices and brand specs
- Work with safety and environmental considerations in mind when creating materials for field-facing or operational teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent experience, or related coursework/internship experience
- 0–2 years of professional or internship design experience (agency, in-house, freelance)
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud — Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
- Familiar with PowerPoint and Canva for rapid layouts and internal communications
- Portfolio demonstrating clean, modern, and versatile design work
- Experience designing for B2B audiences or complex/technical industries is a plus
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and print production processes
- Motion graphics or video-editing exposure (Premiere Pro, After Effects) is advantageous
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time: 3 days per week (approximately 24 hours/week)
- Compensation: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour (hourly, non-exempt)
- This role is based in Morristown, NJ (on-site or hybrid as required by the team)
