What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level / junior Full Stack Developer role focused on Java back-end and React.js front-end development. You will join a confidential client engineering team to build, test, and maintain web applications that serve business needs.

• Contribute to development of new features using Java (backend) and React.js (frontend)
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and work with relational databases (SQL)
• Implement client-side UI components with HTML, CSS and modern React patterns
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers in agile sprints
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews
• Use version control (Git) and follow CI/CD pipelines for deployment
• Troubleshoot issues, analyze logs, and fix defects across the stack

Who You Are — Required Qualifications

• Recent graduate or early-career software developer (CS, Engineering, Math, Statistics or related)
• Practical experience or coursework in Java and React.js
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and SQL databases
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Comfortable using Git and collaborating in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn

Nice to Have

• Experience or coursework with Python or data fundamentals
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, or CI/CD tools
• Exposure to testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, etc.)
• Any internship, project, or portfolio demonstrating full‑stack work

Compensation & Location

• Salary range: $82,000 — $136,000 per year (full-time)
• Employment type: Full-time
• Location: Jersey City, NJ (on-site or hybrid per client needs) — candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.
