Position Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Full Stack Developer for an entry-level engineering role based in Glendale, CO. This is a full-time contract opportunity ideal for candidates with academic, internship, bootcamp, or early professional experience who are ready to grow under mentorship and contribute to real-world web applications.

What You’ll Do

Confidential Client’s engineering team will expect you to:

• Assist with design, development, and maintenance of full-stack web applications.
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.
• Implement backend logic and RESTful APIs using Node.js, Java, Python, .NET, or Spring Boot.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB).
• Follow project architecture, coding standards, and development workflows.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, product).
• Write clean, maintainable code; assist with unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Maintain and update technical documentation for assigned features.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications for this entry-level role:

• 0–1 year of full-time professional software development experience (internships and projects are valued).
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and basic software design principles.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Basic knowledge of at least one backend language or framework (Node.js/Express, Java/Spring Boot, Python, .NET).
• Familiarity with relational databases and basic SQL.
• Experience with Git (branching, merging, pull requests).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; eagerness to learn.

Preferred (nice-to-have):

• Hands-on projects, bootcamp experience, GitHub contributions, hackathon participation, or open-source work.
• Familiarity with unit testing and CI/CD basics.

Compensation & Work Type

• Salary range: $55,000 - $75,000 per year (posted to comply with Colorado pay transparency requirements).
