Junior Enterprise Watch Officer
The Junior Enterprise Watch Officer at Confidential Client is responsible for monitoring and managing critical IT incidents and operational activities within the enterprise support center to ensure continuous situational awareness and service availability for NGA leadership. This role involves coordinating incident resolution, briefing senior leadership, and collaborating with mission partners to minimize downtime and mission impact. The position requires strong communication skills, technical proficiency with ServiceNow, and the ability to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced government IT environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage Critical Priority 1 incidents from detection to resolution, including ticket ownership and escalation.
- Monitor operational activity across enterprise support cells (e.g., PSOC, CSOC) to maintain centralized situational awareness of IT service health.
- Communicate operational status and incident updates to technical teams and leadership.
- Prepare and deliver Daily Operations briefs and provide routine briefings to senior leadership.
- Collect, coordinate, and brief upcoming Areas of Operations (AOs).
- Recommend mitigation steps to minimize downtime, reduce mission impact, and accelerate service restoration.
- Assess event and incident impacts on mission capability and help prioritize restoration and authorized outage decisions.
- Coordinate with affected mission partners during unscheduled outages to communicate status, remediation, and estimated restoral times.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support continuous enterprise operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience OR
- Associate’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR
- 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Operational experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community or federal IT operations preferred.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Must successfully pass background and drug screening.
- Estimated compensation: $90,338 per year (estimated).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to obtain CI Polygraph clearance if required.
- Flexibility to work Panama day or night shift hours and serve as the team floater.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong independent work skills while remaining effective in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced contract environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable briefing technical status to senior stakeholders.
- Professional phone presence and customer service experience; able to provide technical assistance by phone.
- Strong problem-solving and abstract thinking skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and common collaboration tools.
