Who You Are

You enjoy building and fixing things — from PC builds and 3D printers to bikes and small machines. You’re curious, proactive, and comfortable taking a concept and turning it into a tested, manufacturable product. You want hands-on engineering experience in a role that gives real projects from day one and a clear career pathway.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (completed or nearly complete); recent grads welcome
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
  • Experience with CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar) via coursework, internships, or personal projects
  • Sheet metal or injection molding experience preferred (internship or prior role)
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and suggests improvements
  • Comfortable working hands-on in an R&D/manufacturing environment
  • Personal, hands-on projects (PC builds, 3D printing, robotics, etc.) are a strong plus

What You’ll Do

  • Lead small-to-medium new product development (NPD) projects through concept, testing, and production
  • Execute product testing for new and existing products and document results
  • Create and maintain manufacturing drawings and BOMs for products
  • Produce and update engineering documentation: specs, install sheets, BOMs, and release packages
  • Identify and implement process and product improvements
  • Support engineering team with additional projects as assigned

Key Metrics

  • NPD milestones achieved on or before planned date (target: 85%+)
  • Product tests completed and logged on schedule (target: 95%+)
  • Drawings and BOMs released error-free downstream (target: 95%+)
  • Documentation packages current and complete (target: 95%+)
  • Process improvements identified and implemented (target: 4–6 per year)
