Role Summary
Confidential Client is seeking a Junior Ecommerce Product Manager to join their product teams. This is a full-time, entry-level product role supporting ecommerce initiatives for enterprise and startup clients. The position begins fully remote (U.S.-based) and will transition to a hybrid model requiring approximately 2 days/week onsite in San Francisco, CA.
What You’ll Do
You will support product delivery across client engagements and internal build projects. Typical responsibilities include:
- Help manage product backlogs, write clear user stories, and define acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to optimize user journeys and checkout/booking flows
- Track performance metrics and recommend conversion improvements
- Coordinate backend integrations with engineering teams (APIs, data flows, payment gateways)
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support sprint planning and retrospectives
- Assist in QA, release coordination, and continuous delivery practices
- Own small to medium scope features end-to-end, and escalate risks where needed
- Contribute to client-facing documentation and product roadmaps
Who You Are / Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Digital Product Strategy
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year) required
- Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Demonstrated ecommerce experience: optimizing conversion, checkout flows, or digital transactions
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus)
- Working knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS, React) and RESTful APIs to collaborate with engineering teams
- Comfortable working on large, complex systems and with cross-functional teams
- Forensic attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership
- Experience on Agile/Scrum teams and using common tooling (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Positive, solutions-oriented mindset and a client-service orientation
Nice to Have
- Experience or personal projects involving AI-enhanced tooling or developer CLIs (e.g., Copilot-style tools)
- Prior exposure to performance optimization and analytics platforms
Work Model & Authorization
- Initially 100% remote within the United States; will transition to a hybrid schedule requiring ~2 days/week onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year (actual starting pay depends on factors such as skills, experience, and location)
