Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Junior Ecommerce Product Manager to join their product teams supporting digital commerce initiatives. This is an early-career, hands-on product role focused on improving e‑commerce user journeys, checkout/booking flows, and conversion. The role starts remote (within the U.S.) and will transition to a hybrid schedule with regular in-office days in Nashville, TN.
What You’ll Do
- Work with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, QA, analytics) to define and deliver e‑commerce features and improvements.
- Own and prioritize product backlogs, write clear user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
- Analyze funnel and performance metrics to identify conversion opportunities and measure impact.
- Collaborate with engineering on web technologies, backend integrations, and CI/CD to ensure reliable releases.
- Map and optimize checkout/transaction flows to improve user experience and revenue.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes: sprint planning, refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
- Communicate product decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders and clients with clarity and data.
- Take ownership of deliverables and drive tasks through to completion with attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Digital Product Strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree (four‑year) completed.
- Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated experience in e‑commerce or digital transaction environments, focusing on user journeys and conversion optimization.
- Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS, React, RESTful APIs) and how frontend and backend systems integrate.
- Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams and with large, complex systems.
- Ability to write clear user stories, define scope, and manage backlog priorities.
- Strong analytical mindset and forensic attention to detail.
- US work authorization required; Confidential Client will not sponsor visas.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with performance metrics and A/B testing for conversion optimization.
- Experience or interest in using AI tools to improve workflows (CLI tools, code assistants).
- Direct experience integrating analytics events or working closely with data/analytics teams.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year (actual pay depends on skills, experience, and location).
- Initially 100% remote within the U.S.; transitions to hybrid (approx. 2 days/week onsite in Nashville).
