Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Junior Ecommerce Product Manager to support ecommerce product initiatives for client engagements. This is a U.S.-based, full-time role starting fully remote with a transition to a hybrid model (onsite in Las Vegas, NV two days per week) after an initial remote period. Candidates should be open to relocating to Las Vegas (no relocation assistance is provided).


What You’ll Do

  • Support product teams that either augment client teams or deliver full product builds for clients.
  • Help define, prioritize, and manage product backlogs; write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with designers and engineers to translate customer needs into actionable scope.
  • Analyze ecommerce funnels and checkout/booking flows to identify conversion improvements.
  • Track and report product performance metrics; recommend experiments to increase conversion and retention.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum processes to drive iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with integrations across web technologies (REST APIs, frontend frameworks) and support CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day product tasks: backlog grooming, sprint planning support, and stakeholder communication.
  • Create and maintain user stories, wireframes, and requirement documentation.
  • Partner with engineering to scope work and ensure successful delivery of features.
  • Monitor KPIs related to transactions, conversion rates, and site performance; propose data-driven improvements.
  • Troubleshoot complex product issues and coordinate cross-functional resolution.
  • Own and improve product processes and delivery quality.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Digital Product Strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience managing backlogs, defining scope, and authoring clear user stories.
  • Experience in ecommerce or digital transaction environments (optimizing user journeys, checkout/booking flows). Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus.
  • Solid technical understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS, React, RESTful APIs) to work effectively with engineering teams.
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Forensic attention to detail and strong ownership mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year college degree) required.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Confidential Client will not sponsor work visas now or in the future.

Nice to Have

  • Prior work on large, complex systems or enterprise-scale commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools and modern LLM workflows (examples: Claude, Gemini, Copilot-style CLIs).
  • Experience with observability/performance tooling and A/B testing frameworks.

Location & Work Model

  • Location: Las Vegas, NV (hybrid after initial remote period).
  • Work model: Initially 100% remote (U.S.); transition to hybrid with onsite expectations ~2 days/week in Las Vegas.
  • Relocation: Candidates open to relocation are welcome; there is no relocation financial assistance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year (actual starting pay determined by skills, experience, and location).
