About the Role
Confidential Client is hiring a Junior Developer to join an engineering team focused on enterprise e-commerce. This is an entry-level, full-time role on a hybrid schedule based in Dallas, TX. You will work with senior engineers to develop and maintain e-commerce features on the Salesforce platform and gain practical experience with Salesforce, JavaScript, integrations, and Agile delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain e-commerce functionality on the Salesforce platform using JavaScript and Salesforce Apex
- Assist in designing and implementing new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Support integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems via REST and SOAP APIs
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure strong system performance and user experience
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to development standards and best practices
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA throughout the software development lifecycle
- Contribute to sprint planning, daily standups, testing, and deployments in an Agile environment
- Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and configurations
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of professional software development experience
- Experience programming with JavaScript and object-oriented programming concepts
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and modern web development principles
- Basic understanding of Salesforce development concepts or strong interest in learning the platform
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Exposure to REST and/or SOAP APIs
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Preferred / nice-to-have:
- Exposure to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C or B2B), Node.js, or other e‑commerce platforms
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Salesforce certifications
