About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring a Junior Developer to join an engineering team focused on enterprise e-commerce. This is an entry-level, full-time role on a hybrid schedule based in Dallas, TX. You will work with senior engineers to develop and maintain e-commerce features on the Salesforce platform and gain practical experience with Salesforce, JavaScript, integrations, and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain e-commerce functionality on the Salesforce platform using JavaScript and Salesforce Apex
• Assist in designing and implementing new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
• Support integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems via REST and SOAP APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure strong system performance and user experience
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to development standards and best practices
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA throughout the software development lifecycle
• Contribute to sprint planning, daily standups, testing, and deployments in an Agile environment
• Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and configurations

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 0–2 years of professional software development experience
• Experience programming with JavaScript and object-oriented programming concepts
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and modern web development principles
• Basic understanding of Salesforce development concepts or strong interest in learning the platform
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Exposure to REST and/or SOAP APIs
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

Preferred / nice-to-have:

• Exposure to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C or B2B), Node.js, or other e‑commerce platforms
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Salesforce certifications
