What You’ll Do

This entry-level, remote-friendly role blends data science and software engineering responsibilities to help candidates build modern, production-ready analytics and ML skills. You will:

• Contribute to data engineering and ML workflows that move models from prototype to production.
• Write clean, tested Python code for data processing, model training, and inference pipelines.
• Use SQL and warehouse tools to prepare and validate datasets (Snowflake / Databricks style workflows).
• Build dashboards or reports (Power BI / Tableau) to surface model and data insights.
• Work with modern ML/NLP libraries (PyTorch, Hugging Face transformers) and cloud AI services.
• Participate in peer code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and basic MLOps practices.
• Prepare artifacts and talk tracks for technical interviews and client screenings.

Who You Are

This position is ideal for:

• Recent graduates in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Statistics seeking first full-time roles.
• Candidates with some academic or project experience in Python, SQL, or ML but limited production exposure.
• Professionals transitioning into data/ML roles who want structured training on modern stacks.
• Candidates who want hands-on practice with Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, LLMs, and MLOps fundamentals.

Preferred skills and competencies:

• Strong Python coding fundamentals; familiarity with pandas and PySpark is a plus.
• SQL experience and an understanding of analytics on warehouse data.
• Basic machine learning knowledge (scikit-learn) and interest in modern deep learning / NLP.
• Familiarity with version control (git) and collaborative development practices.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and desire to learn employer-facing tools and interview techniques.

• Salary: $82,000 - $136,000 per year
