What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level data science role where you'll work on real business problems across the analytics lifecycle. You will contribute to data collection, analysis, model development, and reporting to help the Confidential Client turn data into actionable insights.

• Collect, clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Develop and evaluate basic statistical and machine learning models
• Assist in feature engineering, model training, validation, and performance evaluation
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
• Write efficient and maintainable Python and SQL code for analysis and modeling
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions
• Prepare reports and presentations for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Monitor model and data quality and assist with troubleshooting
• Stay current with emerging data science, AI, and machine learning techniques

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Python and SQL
• Understanding of statistics and probability
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Location: New York, NY (onsite or hybrid per client needs)
