What You’ll Do

Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is recruiting entry-level and early-career technology candidates for full-time roles across data and engineering tracks, including Junior Data Scientist, Data Analyst, and Java Full‑Stack Developer positions. As part of our third‑party recruiting process, candidates will receive resume guidance, interview coaching, and targeted placement support to increase interview conversions.

Typical responsibilities (role varies by placement):

• Support data collection, cleaning, and exploratory analysis to inform business decisions
• Build and optimize SQL queries and data models for analytics and reporting
• Develop, test, and document ETL/pipeline components and small production features
• Work with Python and/or Java to prototype analytics, machine learning experiments, or backend services
• Use Spark, Databricks or Snowflake workflows for scalable data processing when applicable
• Apply streaming concepts and cloud ETL patterns to move and transform real‑time or batch data
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product stakeholders; present pipeline or model designs clearly
• Prepare project artifacts and a concise “walk me through this pipeline” narrative for interviews
