Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level technical talent for full-time roles across data and software tracks in Santa Clara, CA. This program targets recent graduates and early-career professionals for Junior Data Scientist, Data Analyst, and Java Full-Stack Developer positions. Candidates will receive skills validation, interview preparation, and outreach support from Careertakes’ third‑party recruiting team.

What You’ll Do

• Work on data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and visualization to support business questions
• Build and validate basic machine learning models and report results to stakeholders
• Write, test, and maintain Java or Python code for web and data applications
• Implement and query relational databases (SQL) and help build ETL/data pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical tasks
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation to deliver production-ready work
• Present findings and technical work clearly to non-technical team members

Qualifications (Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field — or equivalent project experience
• Demonstrable experience through projects, coursework, internships, or bootcamps in one or more of: Python, Java, or SQL
• Familiarity with data analysis libraries or tools (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or similar)
• Basic understanding of software development workflows (Git, testing, debugging)
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies quickly
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Eligible to work in the U.S.; ability to commute or relocate to Santa Clara, CA as required

• Exposure to machine learning model evaluation, basic feature engineering, or model deployment
• Experience with web frameworks (Spring Boot, Flask/Django, or similar)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or DevOps fundamentals
• Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Looker) or data pipeline tools
• Internship or project experience delivering end-to-end applications

• Salary range: $78,000 - $136,000 per year (salary range provided by the client)
• Employment type: Full-time
• Location: Santa Clara, CA (on-site or hybrid as specified by Confidential Client for specific roles)
