Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Junior Data Analyst (entry-level, full-time) based in North Sioux City, SD. In this position you’ll support analytics and reporting efforts, help turn data into actionable insights, and work closely with cross-functional teams to improve business decisions. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone starting their analytics career who wants practical experience with real datasets and reporting tools.
What You’ll Do
- Support collection, cleaning, and validation of data from multiple sources
- Perform exploratory and descriptive analysis to surface trends and insights
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for stakeholders
- Help maintain and document datasets, ETL steps, and reporting logic
- Collaborate with teams to translate business questions into analytic tasks
- Communicate results clearly — both written and verbally — to non-technical audiences
Minimum Qualifications
- Entry-level (0–2 years) experience in data analysis, internships, or coursework
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working with spreadsheet tools (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Basic familiarity with data querying or data tools (SQL knowledge a plus)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S.; able to work on-site in North Sioux City, SD as required
Preferred (Nice-to-have)
- Hands-on experience with reporting/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Experience with basic scripting or analysis tools (Python, R) or database querying (SQL)
- Prior internship or project experience analyzing real-world datasets
- Ability to document processes and maintain analytics artifacts for team use
