What You’ll Do

You will support data-driven decisions by collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data from multiple sources. This entry-level role is a hands-on position that partners with business stakeholders and senior analysts to deliver reports and insights that improve processes and inform strategy.

  • Collect, clean, validate, and integrate data from internal and external sources.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
  • Perform data quality checks and ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Support automation of recurring reports and reporting processes.
  • Create and maintain documentation for datasets, reports, and analytical processes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay current with data analytics tools, techniques, and industry best practices.

What We’re Looking For (Required Skills)

Candidates should have foundational analytics experience and strong technical curiosity.

  • 1–4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Solid Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have (Preferred Skills)

These skills will help you ramp faster and take on more advanced analytics work.

  • Experience with Python or R for analysis and automation.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of basic statistics, forecasting, or predictive analytics.
  • Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience building interactive KPI dashboards.

Qualifications & Logistics

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Must be willing to relocate anywhere within the United States for onsite client projects.
  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • Seniority level: Entry level (1–4 years experience).
