What You’ll Do
We are hiring a Junior Data Analyst to support client-facing analytics, reporting, and business intelligence work. In this role you will collect and validate data, build reports and dashboards, and present findings to stakeholders to help drive data-informed decisions.
- Collect, clean, validate, and transform data from multiple sources.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reports.
- Perform data quality checks and document data lineage and assumptions.
- Automate recurring reports and streamline reporting workflows.
- Create and maintain documentation for datasets, reports, and processes.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay current with data analytics tools, techniques, and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
Candidates should be early-career analysts with practical experience using core data tools and an eagerness to grow in analytics and BI work.
- 1–4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Solid Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data functions).
- Practical knowledge of data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred Skills)
- Experience with Python or R for analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Understanding of basic statistics, forecasting, or predictive analytics.
- Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience building interactive KPI dashboards.
Qualifications & Additional Info
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. A relevant Master’s degree is a plus.
