What You’ll Do
As a Junior Data Analyst supporting Confidential Client, you will help turn operational and product data into clear insights that inform decisions across teams (e.g., operations, sales, product). This is an entry-level role where you'll work with experienced analysts and business partners to build reports, clean data, and support analytics projects.
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources (CSV, databases, internal tools)
- Write SQL queries to extract and summarize data for recurring and ad-hoc reports
- Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Prepare weekly/monthly operational and sales reports used by cross-functional teams
- Support data quality initiatives and document data definitions and processes
- Perform basic statistical and trend analyses to surface opportunities or issues
- Communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders through charts and concise summaries

- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- 0–2 years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related role (internships/projects count)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas) and familiarity with relational databases
- Practical SQL experience: writing joins, aggregations, and basic window functions
- Ability to create clear visualizations and explain results to business partners
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and a problem-solving mindset
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools
- Basic scripting in Python or R for data cleaning/automation
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or inventory data structures (helpful for manufacturing/AV environments)
- Coursework or projects in statistics, forecasting, or A/B testing

Location & Schedule
This position is based in Anaheim, CA. Standard on-site hours are expected; details about hybrid or schedule flexibility will be shared during the hiring process. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
