Overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Junior Campaign Manager to support ad operations and the execution and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across desktop, mobile, video, audio and newsletters. This is a hybrid role based in Ny State Campus, NY (expected in-office ~3 days/week). The role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates building a career in digital advertising and ad operations.

  • Annual base pay range: $60,000—$70,000 USD
  • Work model: Hybrid — typically in-office ~3 days per week

Responsibilities

  • Support setup, trafficking, and launch of digital campaigns across multiple channels (display, mobile, video, audio, newsletters).
  • Ensure accurate implementation of creatives, targeting, tracking tags, and other campaign elements.
  • Monitor daily campaign performance; identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Recommend and implement optimizations to improve performance and meet client goals.
  • Produce campaign wrap reports with impressions, clicks, interactions and KPIs.
  • Analyze campaign data to derive insights and present data-driven recommendations.
  • Communicate campaign status and updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist sales and client success teams to support client satisfaction and retention.
  • Support ad ops functions including billing, troubleshooting technical issues, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for campaign processes.
  • Demonstrate support for journalistic independence and the client’s editorial values where applicable.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field.
  • Ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Experience working on multi-faceted projects with cross-functional partners.
  • Comfortable working in diverse ways and adapting to changing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or entry-level experience in digital advertising, ad operations, or media planning.
  • Familiarity with ad serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, DoubleClick Campaign Manager).
  • Strong attention to detail and a customer-service orientation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual base pay range: $60,000—$70,000 USD.
  • Dependent on role, eligibility for variable pay (annual bonus, restricted stock) may apply.
